well Dave's investment advise is great for the beginner---his advise on getting out of debt is good---but his sponsers are all crooks---I called his recommended insurance co. to get a quote---gues what one of the 1st questions asked was how much I was willing to pay like a used car salesman--even tho i told them exactly what I wanted--------if the requested service is stated then just give me the lowest price for what I want-------------guess what their lowest rate for what I wanted was almost twice as much as the best rate I'd found by searching aroun--then let's go to refinancing a mortgage--I have called his suggested refinancer 2 times in the last 5 years--you no the one who says you should not pay points---guess what the little dude in a cubicle each time suggested I pay points---plus the interest rates were higher with paying their points than i could get without paying points---yes I love Dave and got out of debt following his plan he is selling out to the highest bidders when it comes to sponsers

Its sad that most people dont use common sense regarding their finances. Does everyone in Franklin or Cool Springs need to be told to save your money and dont buy things you cant afford? By the number of huge empty houses and no furntiture it would seem that Nashville and Middle Tennessee needs the lesson.

We started FPU 1/09. We have learned to "tell our money where to go." The first time in our life we are learning to live with a balanced budget. I am on budget with church contributions! We are snowballing our 2nd mortgage, learning to live on less than we make! Imagine that! I LOVE DAVE! Hope to be rid of 2nd mortgage in 15 months!
